About Us

Our Church

St. Andrew's Episcopal is a growing, inclusive community of faith, seeking to live into our baptismal covenant of service, compassion, faith, and love. As the only Episcopal Church in Blount County, Saint Andrew’s has grown from twenty congregants at its first meeting in 1923 to nearly 400 today.

We are a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee, a member of the Episcopal Church USA, and belonging to the fellowship of the Anglican Communion.

Our Values

We Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As Episcopalians, we try to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. His life, death, and resurrection are our hope for salvation.

We are a church of inclusion with the firm belief that God loves you - no exceptions.

We see our faith most clearly as a way of life and as a matter of practice, rather than of doctrine. Our Anglican theology honors scripture, tradition, and the rich complexity of each person.
